History Of The Industrial Rock

The rise of the industrial rock began by the end of the 70′s when the great number of rock punk bands began the use of the synthesizers augment the industrial taste in their guitar based music.

It was quite an amalgamation of different sources of music that may include noise music and electro-industrial and post-punk and conventional rock music. People often misunderstand it with the industrial metal which is quite different and was never started till after a whole decade.

There were some bands before that gave way to the industrial rock. These bands might not have made quite a mark at the time they came but gradually they became icons this genre of the music. These groups largely included Killing Joke, SPK, Test Dept. and Die Krupps. There were several other bands; these are just few of the most prominent bands of the time. Songs and hits by these bands gave way to a new kind of music.

As you may see that the industrial rock is quite an amalgamation of the influences of the different types of music like it combines both rock and post-punk, along with the whole feel of the electronic music, so the industrial rock and make use of different music instruments to make this actually happen.
They use a mix and match of acoustic and electronic music instruments and gears. Some of such equipments and tools may include Apple Logic, Clavia Nord Lead and Digidesign Pro Tools.

All in all, one may say that the commercial and the actual success of this type of music came in 90′s but after that, the popularity seems to fade away. Seo India
